Subject: Raging Blast 2 gets 30 minutes of new animation!

Hi,

The upcoming game Raging Blast 2 for the Playstation 3 and X360 are getting 30 minutes of new animation based on an old game called "Plan to Eradicate the Saiyans" which was only available to play on some old and rare console. The new title will be "Plan to Eradicate the Super Saiyans". You can see the new animation straight away as it will be the opening of the game.

Subject: Seiyuu passes away, Goku to make an appearance in Thailand

Hi,

First of all, some tragic news. The voice actor of the character Zald, one of Garlic Jr's henchmen, has passed away. Mizutori Tetsuo passed away a month ago on June 14th, 2010. He was 71 years old.

Second, Anime News Network reports that Goku will make an appearance on July 24 and 25, 2010, at the Central Plaza in Bangkok, at the second annual Thai Anime Song Contest. This is a Japanese and Thai cultural exchange event arranged by the Japanese Embassy of Thailand. A costumed version of Dragon Ball Z's protagonist, Son Goku, will appear as the event's special guest.

The two-day event will feature preliminary nominations on July 24, followed by 15 finalists competing on July 25. Later in 2010, Bangkok sister city Fukuoka, Japan will host a new event called Cosplay Idol Asia Cup, a competition between 112 entries, including representatives from Thailand.

Thailand is home to many anime fans: in 2009 a life-size Gundam bust, built by fans, was unveiled in Bangkok prior to the city's 2009 Gundam Expo. A Thai creator won the 3rd annual International Manga Award in 2009, and in 2007 the BBC reported that Hello Kitty, Japanese company Sanrio's primary mascot character, was being used by the Thai police to punish police officers for minor transgressions. A Dragon Ball Z-themed bus has also been seen in Thailand.

Subject: Cosplay at conventions

Hi,

Chibicon is an anime convention which took place in the Netherlands last Saturday. Thanks to a topic I started on a forum a lot of DragonBall cosplayers visited the convention!! A lot of pictures were taken and they are now online. Some photos made by me, some made by others.

And that's not all, I've decided to dedicate a section about it on the site. On the page "Cosplay at conventions" you can find all sorts of conventions where you could see some DragonBall cosplay.
If you took a photo of a DragonBall cosplayer at a convention, mail it to me and I'll add it. You may also email if you see a photo you want to have removed.

As you've might've noticed it's been quiet lately on the site. This is because I was very busy with my internship for school. Last few weeks I was so busy and those were also very important for me so I put all my time in that. But I'm back now so, expect those updates soon!!

Subject: DragonBall Kai receives new ED
Date: 16 Apr 2010

Hey everyone,

DragonBall Kai will have a new ending theme starting at episode 55. This episode will premiere on May 2nd in Japan. The new ending theme will be performed by "Team Dragon", which consists of the seven members of "AKB48".

Nothing has been mentioned about a new opening theme so chances are we'll be keeping Dragon Soul.

Subject: Dragon Ball Tag VS, Comments, DragonBall Z Kai

Hi,

I realize I'm very late with updating the English section, sorry about that!
We have a lot of DragonBall news. First of all, the Weekly Shonen Jump has announced the game DragonBall Tag VS for the PSP. It's a multiplayer, which is pretty unique for this console. It's been a while since we last had a DB game for the PSP.

Nick Toons has also started streaming clips from DragonBall Z Kai, the American dub of DragonBall Kai. In these clips you'll find out that they'll be censoring quite a bit. Roshi's beer is painted white and Bardock misses blood of his face and even his trademark scar.

The comments have also returned on the site! It's via Cutenews so I'll be expecting quite a few spambots in a while... In an attempt to stop the spambots, you now have to register before commenting... Let's hope we don't get any spam this time.

Hey,

Finally a new update ^^.
I've uploaded a bunch of new cels in the image folio! 14 of DragonBall, 111 of DragonBall Z and 5 of DragonBall GT.

I've also put some new genga's online!

I also put a lot of new character designs up! The quality isn't that great but they are very rare... so I put them up anyway.

I've also noticed that Funpic is becoming more and more crappy each time. Not only do you have that enormous ad blocking the view, but you now also have a popup which even Firefox doesn't block.
Ah well, it's a free host with a lot of space so I don't have a lot of choice... Just to be clear though, those aren't my pop-ups. If you know a better host? Let's hear it.

I also typed two new transcripts. These are DragonBall Z aflevering 147 and DragonBall GT aflevering 26.

We also have a new affiliate: Kienzan.NET!

Subject: Collecting dragonballs in DragonBall Online

Hi,

More information concerning the MMORPG DragonBall Online. More has been revealed about the collecting of dragonballs in the game and the making of wishes.

MMOsite.com reported that a so called "collection system" has been introduced. With this you can collect dragonballs and summon Shenron. By doing this you can acquire rare items and skills.

In order to collect dragonballs you'll have to defeat specific types of monsters during the weekends. You can even require items from the original manga such as the Dragon Radar, and a Dragon Radar chip for your scooter. This will make dragonball collecting a lot easier.

Shenron appears when all dragonballs have been collected. You can make wishes for weapons, skills and even transformations such as Pure Majin and Super Saiyajin!

The release date for the people here in the West is still unknown.
